Why Exfoliate?

Shedding skin cells is a natural process. You lose thousands of cells every day. This is how the skin renews itself automatically. You can give your skin a little help by exfoliating.

This removes dead skin cells, leaving your skin smooth and radiant.

A scrub is especially recommended for dry hands and feet. Sometimes, when you apply hand cream or heel balm, you might feel like it’s not helping.

Your body produces extra cells in response to harmful external substances, such as air pollution and UV radiation. This can cause the skin to slowly "suffocate" itself.

If you don't remove dead skin cells, the nourishing ingredients in your hand cream won't penetrate deep enough into your skin to do their job. And it can actually have the opposite effect...

Don't get mad!

Once you’ve removed the dead skin cells, you’re left with delicate, new skin cells. You can damage your skin by scrubbing too harshly.

How often should you exfoliate?
Always tailor the number of exfoliation sessions per week to your skin type.

  • Do you have dry and sensitive skin?
If so, limit yourself to two exfoliations per month.
  • Do you have normal to oily skin?
In that case, you can exfoliate your skin 1 to 2 times a week
